Island Fortress- Is a merge of old naval ships and castles.
I was inspired to create this scene after my trip to San Diego, CA where I visited the Maritime Museum. I was captivated by the sheer
size of the ships there and their many sails. I've always been fond of castles and old naval ships. In this painting I imagined a ship
returning to the Island Fortress after a long journey to resupply. I enjoyed the creative challenge to bring these two subjects together in
this unique painting.

Painted this with the highest quality acrylic paints and brushes.
All paintings do not have varnish. I feel that varnish takes away color richness from the original painting. That being said do not
allow painting to come in contact with water or extreme heat.
Giclee on Canvas reproduction printed on a high end pigment based printer for greater color accuracy and richer pigments.
All Giclee on Canvas are gallery wrapped with 1.5" stretcher bars ready to hang with wire mounted on back.
 
All prints except HD metal and giclee are hand signed by me in pencil on the white border.

Archival Fine Art Prints are printed from professionally photographed 60 mega pixel lossless image of the original painting. Prints
have a half inch border outside of the listed measurements.Prints are shipped rolled with a protective film in a sturdy cylinder box.

General Care Guide:
For original painting store in clean area preferably hanged as is or framed Do not allow original paintings to come in contact with
water or extreme heat as they are not varnished and can be damaged by the elements. All Prints are shipped rolled with a protective
film. Do not touch the printed area of the print as it is vulnerable to scratches and oil. Please only touch unprinted white border around
the edges. Recommend framing the print behind glass and keep out of direct sunlight or UV light.
